ECHO PARK
Simplicity, big impact.
The task was to connect the primary home with the ADU in a manner that was simple, straightforward, and beautiful. This home is placed on a hillside (of course, lol) so required some grading and retaining. We opted for some vast DG expanse, pockets of natives, and timber retaining. Let the space breathe and go with the flow. An existing wabi sabi wall was kept- we loved it’s cobbled together weirdness. A good compliment to the simplicity of the design.
